This is the most collectable new generation Rolex GMT Master II Model. "M" Serial in Model Number 16710 is the last Series Rolex GMT Master II Head and Bracelet configuration with the new 3186 Movement. These "M" Serial GMT II's are the only version of the 16710 that has the new model 3186 Movement fitted with the new Rolex Parachrom Blue Hairspring. The 16710 comes with the very desirable Black and Red Enamel Bezel. With the introduction of the 116710 a new Rolex 3186 movement was made. This is a superior movement but there has been one problem in the GMT community. The new model GMT only comes with an all black bezel. The "M" Serial is the most collectable of the 16710 GMT Master II's.
